Queen's University Concert Orchestra

Are you interested in being the conductor of Queen's only student-run orchestra? Look no further - applications are here! The Queen's University Concert Orchestra (QUCO) is a not-for-credit student club run by an Executive Team which includes the Music Director. Students joining are not expected to be taking music courses but should have some background playing music. The ensemble is made up of Orchestral Instruments, Saxophones, and Piano. The Music Director is responsible for: Coaching and conducting the ensemble Organizing and running weekly ensemble rehearsals Selecting appropriate music Working with a team to arrange music/parts as needed Supporting the executive team in organizing 2-3 concerts each year Applications close Sunday, February 23rd at 6:00pm
